JOHN A. ZACCARO
John A. Zaccaro is President of P. Zaccaro Co., Inc., a real estate brokerage management and investment firm. He joined the firm founded by his father, Philip, in 1956.
In the late 70’s, John was appointed a member of the NYC Housing Council. He has also served as a trustee for various NYC independent schools, Saint David’s and The Convent of Sacred Heart. John has also served as a trustee of the Bankruptcy Court, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the co-op at which he resides.
John has lived his life in New York. He was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Forest Hills, Queens. Upon graduating from Iona College with a BBA degree, he served in the Marine Corps. John was married to Geraldine Ferraro for fifty years. They had three children, Donna, John Jr., and Laura. John also has eight grandchildren.

John A. Zaccaro, Jr., has over fifteen years of experience in the real estate industry. He is a Principal of P. Zaccaro Company Inc., a third generation full service privately held real estate investment and management firm. Their in-house disciplines include property management, construction, leasing, accounting, legal and financial analysis. John is also the founder and managing partner of Zaccaro Associates LLC., a Real Estate Development Company which focuses on projects in the New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut area. He is partner and chief executive officer of JJ Realty Partners, LLC., a Real Estate Investment Company which specialized in value-added real estate equity investments and distressed debt opportunities. In that capacity he has structured complex debt and equity real estate transactions.
Prior to that, John had career in Law where he worked at Marcus Montgomery PC, Baker McKenzie and the Queens District Attorney’s office. John holds a Juris Doctor from Columbus School of Law and a certificate of special achievement in Comparative and International Law. He is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. He also founded and ran several food related business, Cascabel Restaurant and the Ravioli Store. Worked in social services at Covenant house and King Street youth center. He is an elected official in Suffolk County for the Village of Saltaire, and has served as Deputy Mayor. He serves on several charitable Foundations and Boards.
John is married and resides in New York City with his wife and three children.
